East v West Report

This match on 15 November was held on a very mild day with light winds and friendly banter in abundance. The 20 players set out around the course that was still wearing the last of the Autumn colours and in great condition thanks to Greenkeeper Andy’s magic touch. After refreshments on return to the club house, we were treated to a wonder meal featuring Lisa’s special home made beef pies and veg  followed by apple pie and custard. Captain Terry announced the result – Red (West) win 4½ : 2½ and thanked the Folke Centre for another super day. Everyone had a great time and looked forward to the final senior events of 2016.
